Breeding and Cultivation Techniques of New Foxtail Millet Variety Jigu 19 with High Quality

济谷19是山东省农业科学院作物研究所以冀LSH为母本、94C36-1为父本进行有性杂交,经系谱法选育而成的优质高产谷子新品种。该品种小米鲜黄,黏香绵软,具有适口性好,商品品质、食用品质兼优等特点;2014~2015年华北夏谷区域试验平均产量为5974.5 kg/hm2;抗旱性1级;耐涝性1级;抗倒性2级;对锈病、谷瘟病、纹枯病的抗性均为2级。2015年在中国作物学会粟类作物委员会第十一届优质食用粟评选中被评为“一级优质米”。2018年2月通过国家非主要农作物品种登记。2019年获得植物新品种权。适宜在山东、河南、河北夏谷区种植。

Jigu 19 is a new summer foxtail millet variety bred by Crop Research Institute,Shandong Academy of Agricultural Sciences.The female parent is JiLSH and the male parent is 94C36-1.The grain of Jigu 19 is bright yellow and good palatability.In the national summer foxtail millet variety regional tests in North China in 2014-2015,its average yield was 5974.5 kg/hm2.The drought resistance and waterlogging tolerance were all at level 1,and the resistance to lodging,millet rust,blast and sheath blight were at level 2.It was accessed as the first grade of the high quality edible millet by the 11th Millet Crops Specialty Committee of China Society of Crops.It was authenticated by the varieties registration system of non-staple crops of the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs in February,2018,and it obtained the new plant variety right in December,2019.
