咽鼓管是连接中耳腔和鼻咽部的复杂结构,其主要生理功能是维持中耳腔压力平衡,其功能障碍可能会引起鼓室积液、鼓膜穿孔、胆脂瘤形成等多种中耳疾病。本文旨在介绍咽鼓管的解剖结构、生理功能、功能障碍诊治进展以及与鼓室乳突腔的关系。

The Eustachian tube is a complex structure connecting the middle ear cavity to the nasopharynx.Its main function is to maintain the pressure balance in the middle ear cavity.Eustachian tube dysfunction(ETD)may cause middle ear effusion,tympanic membrane perforation,cholesteatoma formation and other middle ear diseases.We describe the anatomy and physiology of the eustachian tube,advances in diagnosis and treatment of ETD and its relationship with the tympanomastoid cavity.
