新型冠状病毒肺炎定点医院医疗废物优化处置实践

Optimal disposal of medical waste in COVID-19 designated hospitals

目的探讨新型冠状病毒肺炎定点医院医疗废物优化处置的方法,为其他医院医疗废物的规范管理与处置提供参考。方法分析定点医院医疗废物的管理与处置现状,制定并实施以下措施:引进并安装医疗废物就地处置设备,优化医疗废物的处置模式,同时完善医疗废物管理配套设施、规范新型冠状病毒医疗废物分类、封扎、转运、暂存各流程以及加强医疗废物的培训和督导。结果通过实践,该定点医院医疗废物的管理与处置逐步实现规范化。结论建议有条件的医院可引进并安装医疗废物就地处置的设备,优化医疗废物的处置模式,加大医疗废物处置的能力,减轻当地的环保压力和医院的运营压力。

OBJECTIVE To explore optimal disposal methods of medical waste in a designated hospital for CoronaVirus Disease 2019 and provide reference for the standardized management and disposal of medical waste in other hospitals.METHODS Based on the status of medical waste management and disposal in the designated hospitals,formulating and implementing the following measures including importing and installing an on-site clinical waste disposal equipment to optimize the pattern of medical waste disposal,improving supporting facilities for medical waste management,standardizing the all processes of classification,sealing,transfer and temporary storage and strengthening the training and supervision of medical waste.RESULT The medical waste management and disposal has been achieved normalization after continuous practice in the designated hospital for CoronaVirus Disease 2019.CONCLUSION On-site disposal equipment of medical waste is recommended to install for hospitals where the conditions are permitted to increase the disposal capacity of medical waste within hospitals and reduce the pressure of local environmental protection and hospital operation.
