Research on ESP Propulsion in Colleges to Meet the Requirements of Regional Economic Developments--A Research from the Respective of Language Economics

近几十年来,随着经济全球化和职业生活国际化,我国的对外交流已经扩大到了社会和科技经贸的各个领域。区域经济的发展对高校大学英语ESP教学产生了迫切需求,服务区域经济的专门用途英语也会成为工作生活当中的常用语。然而我国高校英语教学大多还停留在普通英语层面并不能满足学生的专业领域的实际应用和区域经济发展的客观需求,这就对教育机构和教师素质提出了更高层次的探索要求。

In recent decades,with economic globalization and professional life Internationalization,foreign exchanges have spread in every field in society,science and technology and trades in China.Regional Economic Development produced an urgent need for ESP teaching in colleges.Language Economics emphasize the research on the practical application in various contexts,and English for special purpose will become popular in work and life.While college English in most colleges still remain at the level of common English which cannot satisfy the students’need in their actual professional fields.Thus,more research and requirements are imposed on the educational services and teacher qualities.
