构建人类命运共同体是中国特色社会主义新时代中国外交的总目标。服务国家外交总目标、着眼公共外交活动,是人民政协对外交往的基本任务。人民政协要助推构建人类命运共同体,必须切实发挥其在外事活动中层次高、代表性强、方式灵活的独特优势,努力优化外交布局,拓展对外宣传与沟通渠道,发挥各界别委员主体作用,实现人民政协公共外交工作的有序有力有效推进,顺应新时代中国特色大国外交战略的需求。

Building a community with a shared future for mankind is the overall goal of Chinese diplomacy in the new era of socialism with Chinese characteristics.Serving the overall goal of Chinese diplomacy and focusing on public diplomatic activities are the basic tasks of the Chinese People′s Political Consultative Conference in foreign affairs.To facilitate the building of a community of shared future for mankind,the Chinese People′s Political Consultative Conference should make good use of its important roles and unique advantages,such as high level,strong representativeness,flexible methods in dealing with foreign affairs,while striving to optimize the diplomatic layout,expanding the channels of publicity and communication,giving full play to the main role of members of all sectors,effectively promoting the diplomatic work of the Chinese People′s Political Consultative Conference,so as to meet the needs of the diplomatic strategy with Chinese characteristics in the new era.
