People as Sensors: Empirical Research on the Dynamic Emotional Experience Assessment of the Built Environment

摘要 本文以大学校园为例,通过一个实验,借助神经生理测量获取情感数据,探索城市建成环境动态评估的方法,试图挖掘建成环境与人的情感体验的互动耦合关系,建立生理指标与情感体验的关联,为该方法在城市研究与设计领域的拓展应用奠定实证基础。该方法可以为设计人员创造一个新的信息层,丰富公民对城市空间设计的参与过程,有利于创造符合人的心理和生理需求的高品质的城市环境。 Taking the university campus for example, by a pilot study, this paper explores the dynamic assessment method of the urban built environment through emotional data from neural-physiological measurement, trying to find out the interactive coupling relationship between built environment and people’s emotional experience. It establishes the link between physiological indexes and the emotion experience, so as to lay an empirical foundation for this method to be applied in the field of urban study and design. This method could create a new layer of information for designers, enrich citizens’ participation in urban space design, and help to create a high-quality urban environment that meets people’s psychological and physiological needs.
