高等教育要以立德树人为根本任务,提高大学生的核心素养。师者乃传道授业解惑也,本文着眼于英语教师的核心素养,教师的品德、素质、个性、专业等隐性素养和显性素养都将影响着处于成长之中的学生。从课程思政的立德树人教育目标、理论联系实际教学手段和热点时事教学内容等方面,提升英语教师的政治素养、价值取向和人文关怀等核心素养。

The basic task of high education is to improve the core accomplishment of college students.This paper focuses on the core qualities of English teachers,whose moral character,quality,personality,specialty and other implicit and explicit qualities will affect the growing students.From the aspects of the educational goal,the combination of theory and practice and the content of current affairs teaching,the core accomplishment of English teachers,such as political literacy,value orientation and humanistic care,is promoted.
