Prof. GAO Zhi has a unique opinion on Xiaochaihu Decoction, which is originally designed to reconcile Shaoyang. If the compatibility and dosage of the monarch and Minister groups are adjusted, it has the effects of soothing liver and relieving depression, elevating Qi, regulating cold and heat, strengthening body and expelling evil. To sort out the experience of Xiaochaihu Decoction in the treatment of premenstrual headache, hypomenorrhea, abdominal pain and postpartum lack of milk, and to discuss the ideas of syndrome differentiation and treatment, the prescription was divided into clearing away heat and relieving pain, purging fire and preserving Yin, dispersing cold and relieving pain, strengthening body and dredging collaterals.It provides more experience and ideas for the clinical application of Xiaochaihu Decoction.
