摘要
作为一个国际文凭的教育体系,国际文凭课程(International Baccalaureate,简称IB)有着自己非常明确的育人目标,其语言教育亦是为此服务的。学习者进行第二语言/外语学习不仅仅是为了获得一个交际工具,更是为了塑造品格以及提高自己的认知能力、认识能力、思维能力,把自己培养成具有家国情怀和世界情怀的人,这是一个更广阔的视角。本文从教育目的、培养目标、教学路子、教学过程等方面探讨了IB语言课程的核心。本文认为,IB的语言教学走的是基于内容的教学路子,其主题围绕目标,利用话题探究主题、文本学习内容,在这个过程中同时提高学习者的语言能力和交际技能。IB的语言教育也给国际中文教育带来了启示和反思。
As an international diploma education system,International Baccalaureate(IB)has very clear educational goals,and its language education also serves its goals.Second/Foreign language learning is not only to obtain a communication tool,but also to shape one’s character,improve one’s cognitive ability,comprehension ability and thinking ability,and cultivate oneself into someone with home and world mindedness.This is a broader perspective.This paper discusses the core of IB language course from the aspects of the educational purpose,training objective,teaching approach and teaching process.This paper argues that IB language teaching takes the approach of content-based instruction(CBI),its themes serving the teaching goals,its topics exploring the themes,and its texts teaching the subject-matter,during which process the learner’s language profi ciency and communication skills are improved.IB language education also brings inspiration and refl ection to international Chinese education.
