To promote the application of BIM technology in construction enterprises and demonstrate its value,taking the construction of a public cultural and sports center project in Nantong Economic and Technological Development Zone as an example,the application of BIM technology assisting the on-site construction and its effectiveness are discussed.The strengths and weaknesses of BIM technology application in the whole construction of project are summarized.The prospects of the comprehensive application of IBM technology are finally explored.
