TEMPERATURE DEPENDENCE OF INDUCED MAGNETIC ANISOTROPIES IN NEARLY NON-MAGNETOSTRICTIVE METALLIC GLASSES

The temperature dependence of magnetization-and strain-induced magnetic anisotropy constants is reported in two nearly non-magnetostrictive CoFeSiB based metallic glasses.It is in accordance with the single-ion theory of uniaxial magnetic anisotropy.It seems that this theory can be regarded as a basis for discussing the nature of induced magnetic anisotropy in some metallic glasses.
