摘要
【目的】桃蛀螟[Conogethespunctiferalis(Guenée,1854)]和松蛀螟(C.pinicolalis Inoue&Yamanaka,2006)是重要的农林业害虫,前者属重大蛀果害虫,为害多种果树和农作物且会造成巨大的经济损失。二者具有同域分布、外部形态和外生殖器解剖结构差异甚微等特性,不仅为区分2种害虫带了很大困扰、而且对准确预测它们的发生期也带来了困难。【方法】本研究整合应用外部形态学和几何形态度量学探索区分2种害虫的有效途径。几何形态度量学研究以前翅斑点为依据,基于地标点法使用TPSdig选取地标点,然后应用MorphoJ开展地标点数据的主成分分析。【结果】外部形态学的比较研究证实下唇须和后足的性状能够较好地区分2种害虫的雄性个体,但雌性个体不易区分;几何形态度量学分析显示基于桃蛀螟和松蛀螟地标点数据的主成分分析可有效地将2个物种区分开来。【结果】几何形态度量学在区分农林业害虫相似种类具有较显著的优势和重要的应用价值。
[Objective]Conogethes punctiferalis(Guenée,1854)and C.pinicolalis Inoue&Yamanaka,2006 are important agricultural and forestry pests.The former is a notorious fruit borer,which damages a variety of fruit trees and crops and causes huge economic losses.Both species occur in sympatry,and there is very little difference in external morphology and dissected structure of external genitalia,which not only makes it per-plexed to distinguish the two pests but also causes it difficult to accurately predict their occurrence period.[Method]In this study,external morphology and geometric morphometrics were used in integration to explore an effective way to distinguish the two pests.In the study of geometric morphometrics,the landmarks with TPSdig we selected based on the forewing stigmata and landmark methods.Further more the Principal Component Analysis(PCA)of landmark-based data by using MorphoJ.[Result]The comparison of external morphology showed that the males of the two pests could be distinguished by comparing the characters of labial palpus and hindleg,but it was difficult to distinguish the females.The results of the geometric morphometric analysis indicated that C.punctiferalis and C.pinicolalis can be unambiguously classified by the PCA of landmark-based data.[Conclusion]The results show that geometric morphometrics has significant advantages and important application value in distinguishing similar species of agricultural and forestry pests.
