摘要
提出了一种具有动态参考功能的高灵敏度、超低功耗PWM比较电路。该电路采用动态参考和多路径正反馈动态比较器,使连续的输入信号比较后生成一串离散数字信号,逻辑处理后转成占空比变化的脉冲。基于65nm CMOS工艺,在1.2V电源电压、200MHz时钟频率下,对该电路进行了验证。结果表明,该电路的整体延迟时间有所增加,平均电流为5.958μA,分辨率为800μV。功耗仅8.1μW,为传统静态PWM比较器的5.2%。
A novel PWM comparator with dynamic reference was proposed with the benefits of high sensitivity and ultra-low power consumption.The proposed dynamic comparator adopted the dynamic reference and multi-path positive feedbacks.In the comparator,the continuous input signal was used to be compared with the dynamic reference to obtain a series of discrete digital signals.By the afterward logical processing,the obtained digital signals were converted into the PWM signals with the changed duty cycles.Based on a 65nm CMOS process,this circuit was verified at a 1.2Vsupply voltage and a 200MHz clock frequency.The results showed that the overall delay time was increased.The average current was 5.958μA,and the resolution was 800μV.The power consumption was only 8.1μW,which was 5.2%of the traditional static PWM comparator.
