Melaleuca alternifolia essential oil is an active component contained in Melaleuca alternifolia,referred to as TTO.Its main components are Terpinene,terpineol and limonene.It has the characteristics of wide antibacterial spectrum,good drug resistance and high antibacterial activity.It is widely used in daily chemical,food,medicine and other fields.This paper summarizes the extraction technology and technology of Melaleuca alternifolia essential oil,as well as the research on its related value and function,so as to provide reference for the high value-added research and practical application of Melaleuca alternifolia essential oil.
