养老金对乡村老年居民医疗支出的影响研究--基于CFPS数据的实证研究

Research on the impact of pension on the medical expenditure of rural elderly residents--Empirical research based on CFPS data

文章基于中国家庭追踪调查数据(CFPS),采用模糊断点与多元线性回归相结合的方法,研究了养老金对乡村老年人医疗支出的影响,并讨论了具体的影响机制。研究发现领取养老金:①对乡村老年人的医疗花费产生显著挤出效应;②对于较为健康或者较低收入的农村老年人的医疗花费影响更显著;③在达到一定数额后,与乡村老年居民的医疗费用支出呈显著正相关。

Based on the China Family Panel Studies(CFPS),this paper uses a combination of fuzzy breakpoints and multiple linear regression to study the impact of pensions on rural elderly medical expenditures,and discusses the specific impact mechanisms.The study found that receiving pensions:①has a significant crowding-out effect on the medical expenses of rural elderly:②has a more significant impact on the medical expenses of healthier or lower-income rural elderly:③when it reaches a certain amount,there was a significant positive correlation with the medical expenses of rural elderly residents.
