基于专利分析的人工智能辅助药物研发领域技术开发态势 被引量:9

The technology development trends in the field of artificial intelligence-assisted drug discovery based on patent analysis

摘要 人工智能用于药物研发领域,可以加速研发、节约资金、降低临床试验失败概率、更有效地开发新药。通过对人工智能辅助药物研发领域的发明专利进行多角度分析,全面展示技术开发态势。研究结果显示,人工智能辅助药物研发领域共有发明专利申请1290组,其中已获得授权且依然处于有效状态的发明专利有230组,近10年增长迅速,技术开发活跃;技术发源地以美国和中国为主,美国技术开发规模大,中国技术开发增速快;技术开发机构以企业和高校/研究所为主,尤其是企业,在该领域的技术创新发挥重要作用,全球超过一半的技术创新由企业主导;技术开发主要聚焦于算法优化、深度学习、模型改进、模式识别、生物信息学。本研究通过人工智能辅助药物研发领域的发明专利进行分析,揭示技术开发态势,从情报学角度提供基于数据的决策支持。 Using artificial intelligence in the field of drug discovery can speed up research and development,save money,reduce the probability of clinical trial failure,and discover new drugs more effectively.A multi-angle analysis of invention patents in the field of artificial intelligence-assisted drug discovery may display a comprehensive technology development trend.The research results showed that there are 1290 invention patent applications in the field of artificial intelligence-assisted drug discovery.Among them,there are 230 invention patent grants which were still active.They have grown rapidly in recent ten years,and technology development is active.The main technology birthplaces are the United States and China.The United States has a large scale,while China is growing rapidly.Technology development institutions are mainly enterprises and universities/institutes,especially enterprises,which play an important role in technological innovation in this field.More than half of the global technological innovation is led by enterprises.Technology development mainly focuses on algorithm optimization,deep learning,model improvement,pattern recognition and bioinformatics.This research analyzed the invention patents in the field of artificial intelligence-assisted drug discovery,aiming to reveal the technology development trend and provide data-based decision support from the perspective of information science.
