装饰艺术运动的风格特征及对现代平面设计的启示

“装饰艺术”(Art Deco)运动是20世纪20、30年代在法、美、英等国家产生的一场设计运动。具有鲜明强烈的色彩特征,重视色彩的明快、清晰的线条,同时注重平面上的装饰构图,具有很强的装饰意味。装饰艺术运动影响了几乎所有的设计领域,平面设计也得到了很大的发展,包括海报、插画、书籍封面、字体设计等,尤其是对海报设计的影响,其中电影海报、旅游海报等商业海报取得了傲人的成绩。文章以装饰艺术运动为研究对象,对装饰艺术运动的发展背景进行梳理,通过归纳装饰艺术运动的风格特征,分析其对现代平面设计的影响和启示,实现对平面设计本质认知的提升。

The "Art Deco" movement is a design movement that emerged in France, the United States, the United Kingdom and other countries in the 1920s and 1930s. It has distinct and strong color characteristics, pays attention to the bright of colors, clear lines and the decorative composition on the plane,which has a strong decorative meaning. The Art Deco movement has affected almost all design fields, and graphic design has been greatly developed, including posters, illustrations, book covers, font design and so on. Especially it has had an impact on poster design, resulting that movie posters, travel posters and other commercial posters have achieved impressive results. Taking the Art Deco movement as the research object, this paper sorts out the development background of the Art Deco movement, summarizes the style characteristics of the Art Deco movement, and analyzes its influence and enlightenment on modern graphic design, so as to realize the improvement of the cognition of the essence of graphic design.
