Review on the Thought of Unity of Nature and Man During the Past Four Decades

“天人合一”是我国传统文化的一个基本思想。自1985年起,国内关于“天人合一”思想的研究逐渐兴起,至今已有近四十年时间。学界先后就“天人合一”的起源与释义、学说发展历程、历史地位、生态文明建设等问题展开集中探讨,并形成数次跨学科、跨学界的大规模论辩。时至今日,“天人合一”的研究步入多元化阶段,它仍然是学界研究的热点问题,且依然具有广阔的讨论空间。

"Unity of nature and man" is a fundamental thought in traditional Chinese culture. Since 1985, there has been four decades of research on "thought of unity of nature and man" in China. The scholars at home studied the origin and interpretation of the thought, its development history, its historical status, and the construction of ecological civilization, and held many large-scale interdisciplinary and interdisciplinary debates about it. Up to now, research on "unity of nature and man" has shown the characteristics of diversity. It is still a heated topic and still has a space for further discussion.
