Objective:To observe the influence of acupuncture timing on motor function rehabilitation in patients with cerebral infarction. Methods:A total of 86 patients with cerebral infarction treated in Yuanhui District Maternal and Child Health Care Hospital of Luohe from June 2020 to September 2021 were randomly divided into the control group and the observation group, with 43 cases in each group. Both groups were given routine treatment. The observation group began acupuncture treatment 3-5 days after the clinical onset, and the control group began acupuncture treatment 10-14 days after the clinical onset. The acupuncture methods of the two groups were the same. Results:After treatment, the national institute of health stroke scale(NIHSS)score of the observation group was lower than that of the control group, the modified Rankin scale(mRS)score was better than that of the control group, and the Barthel index and Fugl Meyer motor function evaluation scale scores were higher than those of the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion:The timing of acupuncture treatment in the early stage of cerebral infarction can significantly improve the limb motor function, prognosis and quality of life, and reduce the disability rate.
