摘要
通识教育逐渐成为国内外高等教育的共识。本文总结了清华大学土木类学科通识教育的大类宽口径培养模式。立足于高水平本科教育和专业教育,充分调研了国外高水平土木类学科的本科培养模式,阐述了清华大学土木大类宽口径专业的培养目标与专业重塑、培养路径以及课程体系建设的思路,并以土木工程专业为例给出了四年制171学分的宽口径专业培养方案;总结了土木大类本科培养的主要支撑体系建设,包括实验实践教学平台建设、大类学生管理体系以及大类培养质量控制与反馈体系的建设。同时,结合外部教育专家评审和近4年的大类培养实践,总结了土木大类宽口径本科培养的经验,并提出了大类培养面临的外部评价等方面的挑战。
Liberal education is becoming acceptable worldwide in higher education.This paper introduces the liberal education mode of Civil Engineering and Systems(CES)undergraduate program in Tsinghua University.Standing for high-quality undergraduate education and professional education,this paper studies the undergraduate education mode of overseas high-level civil engineering disciplines,and illustrates the educational objective and major reshaping,educational process,and curriculum structure of liberal education in CES undergraduate program in Tsinghua University.Civil engineering,as one of divisions of CES,is taken as an example to describe the curriculum structure of CES,with four-year study and 171 credits.Furthermore,the basic systems to support CES are presented,including experimental and practical teaching platforms,student affairs management systems,and quality control and assessment systems.Besides,based on the review from external education experts and four-year CES trials,the experience in CES liberal education is summarized and relevant challenges such as external assessment presented as well.
