物质主义对关系自尊的影响:领悟社会支持的中介作用

Influence of materialism on relational self-esteem:Mediating role of perceived social support

目的:考察物质主义对大学生关系自尊的影响以及领悟社会支持的中介作用。方法:采用物质主义价值观量表、领悟社会支持量表、关系自尊量表对419名大学生进行调查。结果:①相关分析显示,物质主义与领悟社会支持(r=-0.19,P<0.001)和关系自尊(r=-0.13,P<0.01)均为显著负相关;领悟社会支持与关系自尊为显著正相关(r=0.59,P<0.001);②中介模型检验表明,领悟社会支持在物质主义与关系自尊间的中介作用显著(95%CI=[-0.18,-0.04])。结论:物质主义通过领悟社会支持负向影响大学生的关系自尊。

Objective:To explore the influence of materialism on university students’relational self-esteem and the mediating role of perceived social support.Methods:A total of 419 university students were selected from a university in Guangxi.They were assessed with Material Values Scale(MVS),Perceived Social Support Scale(PSSS),and Relational Self-Esteem Scale(RSE).Results:①Materialism was negatively correlated with perceived social support(r=-0.19,P<0.001)and relational self-esteem(r=-0.13,P<0.01);Perceived social support was positively correlated with relational self-esteem(r=0.59,P<0.001).②The test of the mediation model showed that the mediating effect of perceived social support was significant(95%CI=[-0.18,-0.04]).Conclusion:Materialism negatively affects university students’relational self-esteem through perceived social support.
