摘要
针对传统Bi-EDFA结构对信号传输隔离度较差的问题,在其基础结构的对应位置处加入了光环形器、光隔离器以及衰减器等结构,从而使所设计模型具备低噪声与高增益的特性。为了获得更为理想的信号传输性能,文中还使用了Opti-System对模型参数进行优化。在对比实验中,利用国产设备所搭建实验平台进行的测试结果显示,所提Bi-EDFA结构的通信增益为33 dB,最小噪声系数为3.5 dB,且其在对比模型中的性能参数均为最优。将该结构应用于100 km的超长距光纤通信链路中,实验结果表明,发射信号与回波信号较为接近,同时,信号的整体质量也较为理想。通过论述与分析可知,文中所设计的模型可以应用于超长距光纤通信系统中,而且能够为光纤通信系统设备的国产化提供参考和借鉴。
Since the signal transmission isolation of the traditional Bi-EDFA(bidirectional erbium doped fiber amplifier)structure is poor,optical circulator,optical isolator,attenuator and other structures are added at the corresponding positions of the infrastructure of the Bi-EDFA,which makes the designed model have the characteristics of low noise and high gain. In order to obtain more ideal signal transmission performance,Opti-System is used to optimize the parameters of the model. In the comparison experiments,the test results on the experimental platform built with Chinese equipment show that the communication gain of the proposed Bi-EDFA structure is 33 dB,the minimum noise figure is 3.5 dB,and its performance parameters are optimal in comparison with those of the other models. The structure was applied to a 100 km ultra-long distance optical fiber communication link for experiment. The experimental results show that the transmitted signal is close to the echo signal,and the overall quality of the signal is also ideal. It can be seen by discussion and analysis that the designed model can be applied to ultra-long distance optical fiber communication system, and can provide reference for the localization of optical fiber communication system.
