The paper cultural relics are protected by the combination of physical and chemical methods.Physical methods include acid free paper bags,plastic packaging,manual mounting and environmental control.Chemical methods are mainly used in cleaning,sterilization and pest control,unfolding,deacidification,reinforcement,etc.To sort out the physical and chemical methods applied in the protection and restoration of paper-based cultural relics and provide a beneficial reference for the protection of paper-based cultural relics.
