摘要 产品创成式设计是凭借创成设计软件中的规则算法自动生成与获取产品的设计方法,它可以让设计者依托产品数字生成工具,快速地探索在某种特定属性定义和价值诉求下,实现大量产品设计方案的可能性。作为一种全新的设计样态与范式,其核心目标在于创建的产品具备符合人需求、欲求的品质,而非是简单的“技术应用”或“炫技行为”,亦不存在单纯的“数量致胜”之道。相较于传统设计,产品创成式设计的思维方式是极富逻辑性与结构性的,更适合于以“科技品质”为主要价值取向的产品设计需要。值得关注的是,产品创成式设计虽然会令产品“综合品质”的创设更为高效、智能且富于全局性,但其结果却未必一定是“高品质”的,即新范式不等于高品质。 Product generative design is a method to generate and acquire product automatically by rules and algorithms in generative design software,which allows designers to quickly explore the possibility of realizing a large number of product design schemes under certain specific attribute definitions and value demands by relying on product digital generation tools.As a brand-new design appearance and paradigm,its core goal is to create products that meet people s needs and desires,rather than simple“technology application”or“technical performance”,and there is no the simple meaning of“winning by quantity”.Compared with traditional design,the thinking mode of product generative design is very logical and structural,which is more suitable for the product design needs with“scientific and technological quality”as the core value orientation.It is noteworthy that although product generative design makes the creation of“comprehensive quality”of products more efficient,intelligent and global,the result may not necessarily be“high-qualitied”,that is,new paradigm≠high quality.
