Library Paper Materials Acidification Damage and Prevention Measures

纸质资料酸化的概念起源于20世纪40年代,泛指由于纸张的含酸量上升导致纸张图像模糊或者机械性能下降。随着人们对于纸质资料酸化的损害认识程度愈加提高,逐渐认识到纸质资料酸化防治的重要性。在分析图书馆纸质资料酸化原因的基础上,从减少酸性物质排放、保存环境建设、资料脱酸处理、降低酸性资料使用率以及构建资料分级抢救体系几方面提出建议,能够减轻图书馆纸质资料的酸化现象,提升图书馆纸质资料的保护水平。

The concept of paper acidification originated in the 1940s,generally refers to the rise of paper acid content resulting in blurred paper images or mechanical properties.With the increasing awareness of paper acidification damage,people gradually realize the importance of paper acidification prevention.On the basis of analyzing the causes of acidification of paper materials in library,this paper puts forward some suggestions from the following aspects:reducing the discharge of acid materials,construction of preservation environment,deacidification of materials,reducing the utilization rate of acid materials and constructing hierarchical rescue system of materials,which can reduce the acidification phenomenon of paper materials in library and improve the protection level of paper materials in library.
