Due to the repeated emergence of COVID-19 in 2022,the unexpected closed-loop management makes the college students who are not allowed to leave the school fall into anxiety, panic and the possibility of“shallow reading”and“indulging in games”under the lack of spiritual guidance. The promotion of the“cloud”reading for the libraries of colleges and universities since the beginning of the outbreak of the epidemic has a wider space for innovation now.By innovating reading resources, reading platforms and service models, taking advantage of“cloud”information technology,as well as developing a series of“cloud”reading promotion activities around the themes of classic book reading, theme reading sharing, garden tour and skills competition, red boutique creation and reading and so on,the library of Jiangxi Normal University provides a place for knowledge discovery and spiritual placement for nearly 40000 students in a closed-loop state. In this thesis, the background, purpose, implementation steps, process and impact of a series of the“cloud”reading promotion activities are concretely introduced, and the experience of“cloud”reading promotion during the repeated epidemic is summarized,so the reference can be provided for colleges and universities to learn from.
