圈养白颊长臂猿的繁殖管理

Breeding management of captive Nomascus leucogenys

由于栖息地不断被破坏,野生白颊长臂猿(Nomascus leucogenys)处于极度濒危状态。圈养白颊长臂猿的饲养繁殖工作已成为扩大该物种种群规模的重要手段。天津市动物园现有白颊长臂猿10只,在长期的圈养长臂猿饲养中积累了丰富的经验。目前,两个白颊长臂猿家庭已成功繁育6胎,不仅扩大了动物园的种群规模,也为其他动物园的种群繁育工作注入了新鲜血液。文章从圈养白颊长臂猿的合笼配对、交配、妊娠、分娩与产后管理及育幼五个方面进行了归纳总结,形成了一套科学的繁殖管理方法,以期为扩大白颊长臂猿的种群数量、更好地保护该物种的遗传多样性提供一定参考依据。

Due to continuous habitat destruction,the wild Nomascus leucogenys is critically endangered.Breeding of captive Nomascus leucogenys plays an important role in expanding the population size of this species.Currently,there are 10 Nomascus leucogenys in Tianjin Zoo,having accumulated rich management experience in long-term captive breeding.At present,two Nomascus leucogenys families have successfully given birth to six cubs,both expanding the population size of the captive Nomascus leucogenys in the zoo and benefiting the blood renewal of other zoos.This paper summarizes such five aspects as cage paring,mating,pregnancy,delivery,postpartum management and youth rearing of captive Nomascus leucogenys,and put forward a set of scientific breeding management methods,aiming to provide some references for expanding the population of Nomascus leucogenys,better protecting the genetic diversity of the species and related work in the industry.
