Population and Development from Gender Perspectives

具有里程碑意义的《国际人口与发展会议行动纲领》,强调生殖健康及权利、妇女赋权和性别平等是人口与发展的基础,推动性别平等成为人口与发展议题的重要组成部分。回顾中国人口研究领域的女性/性别与发展研究,多年来积累了丰富的成果,但也存在问题和局限。30年来全球人口形势发生了重要变化,在21世纪面临新的挑战。推动人口与发展议题中的性别主流化,尤其注重家庭和生育、生殖健康、城镇化与人口流动方面具有性别视角的研究,将有助于在应对新挑战的同时,促进性别平等和发展。

The landmark International Programme of Action on Population and Development emphasizes that reproductive health and rights,women’s empowerment and gender equality are fundamental to population and development,and promoting gender equality as an important part of population and development issues.The issues related to women/gender and development in the field of population research in China have obtained much attentions,but there are also problems and limitations.Over the past 30 years,the global population dynamics have undergone significant changes,and facing new challenges in the 21st century.Promoting gender mainstreaming in population and development issues,with a particular focus on research with a gender perspective on family and fertility,reproductive health,urbanization and population mobility,will help to promote gender equality and development while addressing new challenges.
