After the Age of Discovery, the exchanges between Eastern and Western cultures led to the formation of a distinct dichotomy between the East and the West. With the enrichment of material life and the awakening of cultural consciousness among the Chinese people, the cultural landscape has evolved from the early period of the reform and opening up when Western styles predominated to the current surge of a new trend of aesthetics called“New Chinese Style”.Oriental aesthetics in China is gradually replacing Western aesthetics, becoming the new trendsetter with a tendency to expand globally. The“New Chinese Style”trend exhibits cultural characteristics such as practicality, individuality, and diversity, catering to the contemporary youth’s needs for personalized expression and identity recognition. The phenomenon of the“New Chinese Style”trend is a manifestation of the national confidence and the cultural self-assurance of Generation Z.With the arrival of the“New Chinese Style”trend in full swing, there is a need for concerted efforts from national policies, online media, and the enterprise market to create a competitive and healthy market environment.A novel aesthetic experience and lifestyle can be offered to the world by leading the development of the“New Chinese Style”trend with new quality productive forces, promoting the transformation and dissemination of“New Chinese Style”research, and integrating the aesthetic culture of Chinese characteristics,Chinese demeanor, and Chinese style with global multiculturalism.
