In the 5000-year history of China's civilization,many inventions are intrinsically linked to chemistry.This paper tells the beauty of chemistry from historical perspectives with the following stories:use of fire,making of ceramics,smelting of metals,production of salt,alchemy and gunpowder,and the story of Min Enze,the father of China's refining catalysts,showing the splendor that chemistry has written in the long history of our country,and offering reference materials for aesthetic education of chemistry to firm our cultural confidence.
