继续教育是构建服务全民终身学习教育体系的重要内容,是人民群众创造美好生活、实现共同富裕的重要途径。深入探讨了继续教育尤其是职业教育在应对社会变革、促进个人职业发展、经济转型升级中的角色定位,分析了职业教育在技能更新、缩小教育差距、提升就业机会、促进就业平等、支持经济转型、增强社会包容性等方面的突出贡献,发现了继续教育实施过程中面临的资源分配不均、课程设置与市场需求错位、学习者参与度不足等困难和挑战,提出推进继续教育高质量发展的有效策略和建议,为相关部门和教育主体在制定政策时提供参考,切实加强继续教育时代化和适切性。对继续教育未来发展趋势和后续研究方向进行了梳理。

Continuing education is an important part of building a lifelong learning education system to serve the whole people,and it is an important way for the people to create a better life and achieve common prosperity.This paper deeply discusses the role of continuing education,especially vocational education,in coping with social changes,promoting personal career development and economic transformation and upgrading,and analyzes the outstanding contributions of vocational education in skills renewal,narrowing education gap,improving employment opportunities,promoting employment equality,supporting economic transformation and enhancing social inclusion.Difficulties and challenges in the implementation of continuing education are found,such as uneven distribution of resources,misalignment between curriculum and market demand,and insufficient participation of learners.Effective strategies and suggestions for promoting high-quality development of continuing education are proposed,which can provide references for relevant departments and educational subjects in formulating policies,and effectively strengthen the modernization and relevance of continuing education.At the same time,this paper also combs the future development trend and follow-up research direction of continuing education.
