Yi Gu Wen Zhi Shi(《医古文知识》Knowledge of Ancient Medical Literature)was fi rst published in 1984,and in 2006,its title was changed to Zhong Yi Yao Wen Hua(《中医药文化》Chinese Medical Culture).The year 2024 marks the 40th anniversary of the journal’s launch.The exclusive interview seeks to engage an in-depth dialogue with Professor Duan Yishan,the founding executive-editor of the journal,to explore the background and challenges faced during the initial stage of the journal’s launch.It will also examine the aims and scope,as well as the evolution of the journal throughout its development.In addition,the interview will discuss the signifi cance of academic workshops hosted by the journal and future development strategies,acknowledge various achievements of the journal,and provide valuable suggestions for enhancing its academic infl uence and guiding its future direction.
