民国时期中共党员在南疆地区革命活动探析

On Revolutionary Activities of Members of the Communist Party of China in Southern Xinjiang During the Period of the Republic of China

1937年,国共第二次合作抗日期间,中共应军阀盛世才请求,派遣16名党员到南疆工作。他们克服当地贫穷落后和黑恶势力盘踞等困难,积极开展抗日宣传和募捐活动,组织民众支援抗战;协助推行币制改革,稳定物价,巩固抗日大后方;通过办校提升教育质量,创办妇女夜校提高妇女地位,并将《喀什日报》改造成进步报纸。在担任公职期间,他们廉洁奉公,打击贪腐,改善民生,修建公路和水库,赢得了当地民众的支持。面对盛世才的反共行动,被捕的党员们坚贞不屈,进行了英勇斗争,最终获释回到延安。这批党员的工作为后来的新疆和平解放奠定了基础。

In 1937,during the second cooperation between the Kuomintang and the Communist Party of China against Japanese aggression,the CPC responded to the request of the warlord Sheng Shicai by dispatching 16 Party members to work in southern Xinjiang.Overcoming such difficulties as poverty,backwardness,and the entrenchment of evil forces,these Party members actively conducted campaigns for popularizing the resistance against Japanese aggression and raising fund by organizing the public to support the resistance;they assisted in implementing currency reforms to stabilize prices,which consolidated the rear base of the resistance;they improved the quality of education by running schools,established night schools for women to elevate their status,and transformed the Kashgar Daily into a progressive newspaper.During their tenure in public office,they served with integrity,combated corruption,improved the public’s livelihood,and constructed roads and reservoirs,which helped them win the support of the local populace.Confronted with the Sheng Shicai’s anti-communist actions,the arrested Party members remained unyielding and conducted a heroic struggle,ultimately being released and returning to Yan’an.The work of these Party members laid a solid foundation for the peaceful liberation of Xinjiang in the future.
