上海外国语学社研究述略

Study on the Shanghai Foreign Language Institute

上海外国语学社是中国共产党早期组织创建的,同时也是社会主义青年团的大本营。该校采取推荐制,介绍学员免试入学,其中出力最多的是湖南船山学社贺民范、社会主义青年团负责人俞秀松以及安庆社会主义青年团负责人蔡晓舟。外国语学社办学时间不长,但收效十分明显,在近60名学员中有30人顺利到达苏俄首都莫斯科继续深造,从而为党培养了包括刘少奇、罗亦农、任弼时等一批重要的领导干部。该学社在中国共产党的创建史上具有重要的地位。

The Shanghai Foreign Language Institute founded by early organizations of the CPC was the base camp of the Socialist Youth League.This school implemented the recommendation system and admission of recommended students without entrance examinations.He Minfan from the Hunan Chuanshan Society,Yu Xiusong in charge of the Socialist Youth League and Cai Xiaozhou in charge of the Anqing Socialist Youth League contributed the most.The Foreign Language Institute did not last long but achieved notable effect:among nearly 60 students,30 went to Soviet Russia’s capital Moscow for advanced studies successfully.A number of important leading cadres including Liu Shaoqi,Luo Yinong and Ren Bishi were fostered for the Party.This institute occupied a very important place in the history of the founding of the CPC.
