This paper points out that the future engineering education should be observed and taken into consideration from new viewpoints.It emphasizes that in engineering education,studends’problem-oriented horizon is even more important compared with pure knowledge learning.The engineering education reform should focus on some technological development tendencies which may have great influence on most of the engineering disciplines in the future,such as AR and MR,as well as artificial intelligence.Moreover,the future engineering education should be reformed due to logic and idea change resulted from some technological developments.This paper also explores how to reform engineering education from human’s viewpoint,such as the engineering and technological ethics,the human roles in artificial intelligence era,and the boundary between humans and tools in the new industrial revolution era.
