故宫博物院创始人李石曾

On Li Shizeng,the Founder of the Palace Museum

学界对故宫博物院史的研究长期处于一种进行迟缓状态,对故宫博物院创始人李石曾的研究更是缺乏。李石曾出身清华世家,早年赴法留学,加入同盟会,与孙中山成为好友。他是中国无政府主义思潮的主要旗手,也是中国留法勤工俭学运动的倡导者和实际组织者,曾主持京津同盟会,见证驱逐溥仪出宫,出任清室善后委员会委员长,组织清宫物品点查,创立故宫博物院,化私为公、一切公开。李石曾一生只做大事,不做大官,淡泊名利,为故宫博物院肇建时期各项事业的发展作出了积极的贡献。

Academic research on the history of the Palace Museum was not done well in the past,so was the research on Li Shizeng,the founder of the Palace Museum. Li Shizeng was born in a family of intellectuals. He went to France to study when he was young,joined the Chinese Revolutionary League and became intimate friends with Sun Yat-sen. As the main advocator of Chinese anarchism and the organizer of the work-for-study movement in France. he took charge of the League of Beijing and Tianjin and witnessed the expulsion of Pu Yi,the last emperor in Qing Dynasty. Then he was required to deal with the remaining problems of Qing Court,checking the articles left and setting up the Palace Museum for public visit. Li Shizeng was indifferent to fame and fortune and put practical work in the first place and he made great contributions to the development of the Palace Museum.
