Hesitation and Breakthrough——A General Survey on Writings of the Pre-TangDynasty Literature History in the Twentieth Century

以 2 0世纪先唐文学史研究作为考察对象 ,分为三个部分进行了论述 ,第一 ,先秦、秦汉文学史研究 ;第二 ,魏晋南北朝文学史研究 ;第三 ,先唐文学史研究的新课题 ;对 2 0世纪先唐文学史研究经历了由“杂”到“纯” ,再由“纯”到“泛”的演变过程进行了论述 ;通过对这样一个演变过程的描述 ,揭示出 2 0世纪中国文学研究观念的变化。

With respect to the study on the pre-Tang Dynasty literature history in the twentieth century taken as the object of investigation, the paper conducts discussions in three parts: first the study of the pre-Qin and pre-Qin and pre-Han literature history; second the study of Wei, Jin, South and North Dynasties; third, new themes of pre-Tang Dynasty literature history. It deals with the study on the pre-Tang Dynasty literature history in the twentieth century, which has passed an evolutionary course from 'sundry' to 'pure' and again from 'pure' to 'sundry'. Through the delineation of such an evolutionary course, the paper reveals the change of the concept on the study of Chinese literature in the twentieth century.
