摘要
美国教育家大卫·库伯在综合了前人一系列体验学习的论述的基础上开创性地提出了"体验学生圈"的自主学习模式。外报外刊阅读要求学生具备一定的新闻文体写作知识、广泛的社会文化知识,还要拥有一定的思辨能力。将体验学习圈四个主要环节运用于英语报刊教学中,可以让学生在一系列阅读小组活动中根据自己的特点开展自主阅读,学习西方社会文化知识,培养批判性思维。
