摘要
这篇论文对小波变换技术及其VLSI实现架构进行了回顾与总结。重点讨论了离散小波变换及其快速算法———Mallat算法。然后对该算法的几种典型VLSI实现架构进行了讨论和比较 ,并对未来的工作给出了建议。
This paper gives an overview and summary of the wavelet transform technology and its VLSI implementation architecture.The main focus has been set on the discrete wavelet transform and the description of an effective algorithm—Mallat Algorithm.Then some algorithm-related typical VLSI architectures are discussed and compared,at last some suggestions on the future research are given in this paper.
