Experience Correction for KCl-mud Effect on Spectrum Logging

KCl泥浆能保护井筒 ,但对能谱测井造成了不利影响。从实际资料出发 ,探讨了KCl泥浆特性 ,通过建立KCl泥浆电阻率与钍、铀、钾的定量关系 ,分析KCl泥浆对能谱测井的影响并建立了校正关系 ,在实际资料应用中收到了良好的效果。

KCl-mud can protect the borehole. But it has bad effect on spectrum logs. In this article, actual logging data is used to analyze KCl-mud property. Based on the KCl-mud property, the quantitative relationship equation of KCl-mud resistivity and the curves of U, Th and K is acquired and the correction coefficients are got from the relationship equation. Using this calibrating method, the better effect is acquired in actual data interpretation.
