摘要
采用自发成核方法 ,以KF B2 O3 为助溶剂 ,在KBBF∶KF∶B2 O3 为 1.5∶5 .0∶0 .8的体系中 ,较为重复地生长了尺寸较大的KBBF晶体 ,从中可加工出 10mm× 10mm× 1.5mm的样品供测试和非线性谐波输出应用。晶体的理想外形由 { 0 0 0 1}、{ 10 10 }、和 { 10 11}三组单形构成。其宏观缺陷主要为连生、孪生、包裹体 ,宏观生长台阶和条纹、开裂等。
Millimeter thick potassium belirium borate fluride (KBe 2(BO 3)F 2,KBBF) crystals were grown by using a spontaneous flux method with the ratio of KBBF∶KF∶B 2O 3(1.5∶5.0∶0.8) repeatedly.From the as grown crystals,samples up to the size 10mm×10mm×1.5mm can be fabricated for SHG and related experiments.The crystal habit consists of {0001}?{1010} and {1011} faces.The macroscopic defects of KBBF are mainly twin and coalescence crystal,inclusions,macrosteps,growth striations and cracks.Surface morphology was also observed.
