摘要
本文采用SPSS统计软件,对大学英语多媒体实验班与传统课堂教学对照班以及多媒体实验班内部三种教学模式的两年学业成绩进行了统计分析。结果表明,与传统课堂教学班相比,多媒体实验班的学业成绩具有持续而显著的整体优势。结果还显示,在三种多媒体教学模式当中,讲练结合模式的教学效果高于学生自主学习模式和教师讲解模式。本文的结论是,多媒体是一种有效的教学手段,但还应讲究教学方法,做到教练结合,保持输入与输出平衡,使输入的知识能够通过输出得到重复、巩固和消化。
This paper uses SPSS to analyze the differences of the two-year achievement test results from three different teaching models within the multimedia experimental group as well as those from the multimedia experimental group and the traditional classroom control group. The statistics shows that the experimental group has demonstrated consistent superiority over the control group in test results. Of the three different multimedia models, the model which combines teachers presentation with learners' production has been shown to have advantage over the learners' autonomous learning model and the teacher-centerd instruction model. The paper concludes that computer-assisted instruction is an effective medium of language teaching, but the teacher needs to strike a balance between the learners' language input and output so as to ensure that the input knowledge be consolidated and digested through practice in output.
