This paper discusses the relationship between constructing socialist spiritual home and carrying forward the spirit of the time in the socialist modernization construction phase,aiming at explaining the spirit of the time including each socialist construction phase period is the carrier of formation and continuous development of the contemporary socialist spiritual home.Therefore,the process of carrying forward the spirit of the time,is also the process of constructing socialist spiritual home.
