摘要 简要介绍图像数据压缩编码国际标准的制定过程以及所采用的核心技术,对今后国际标准的发展的主方向和前景进行了初步探讨。 The development process of Image compression coding standards has been introduced in brief.And the fundamental theories and involved technologies of several international standards for image compression are presented.Moreover,the realization of some important functions in these standards is also illustrated.At the end of this paper,the trends of image compression coding and some experience on it are also discussed and predicted.
