Loop laying head is one of the key equipment in high speed wire rod mill. This article analyzes the use and shortcomings of the split ring of the loop laying head so as to carry out innovative modification to the split ring.After the modification,the performance of the split ring has been improved obviously,especially when it is used for rolling small specification products and coiled reinforced bar.
