摘要
Paradox(似非而是的隽语 )与Oxymoron(矛盾修辞 )是两种不同的修辞格。它们因表面自相矛盾但实则入情入理的共同特点而经常被混淆。本文通过例句分析了这两种修辞格的异同并对它们的翻译进行了探讨。
Paradox and oxymoron are two similar figures of speech for both of them seem self-contradictory, but actually reasonable and true. This paper attempts to point out the similarities and differences between them and the translation of sentences containing paradox and oxymoron is discussed in the paper as well.
