实验室试验表明,以聚乙烯吡咯烷酮为载体的固体碘伏具有良好的杀菌效果。温度升高或pH下降时,其溶液的杀菌作用可加强。有机物污染严重时可降低其杀菌效果。
PVP-I powder disinfectant, a solid iodophor using polyvinyl pyrrolidone as the carrier, was synthesized by Nanjing University. Laboratory experiment was carried out to determine its germicidal effect. A solution of the iodophor containing 1000ppm available iodine with a 2min contact time could kill 99.99% of Escherichia coli and Staphylococcus aureus, while a solution containing 8000ppm available iodine with a 120min contact time was required for achieving the same killing rate in spores of Bacillus subtilis var.niger. When pH of the disinfectant solution was adjusted by sodium carbonate and hydrochloric acid, the germicidal efficacy increased with decreasing pH value in the pH range of 2~8. When the germicidal test was carried out in thermostatic water bath(0~50℃), the higher the temperature, the better the germicidal efficacy. When calf serum was added to the bacterial suspension, the germicidal efficacy decreased with increasing amount of calf serum added. Taking bacterial spores as an example, a solution of the iodophor containing 6000ppm available iodine with a 5min contact time gave a killing rate of 82.96% at pH 2, while a killing rate of only 67.38% was achieved at pH 8; the killing rate at 0℃ was 75.26%, while that at 50℃ was 97.15%; the killing rate after exposure for 90min was 99.99% in absence of serum, while it decreased to 97.28% and 92.66% after addition of 10% and 20% serum respectively.
