Mullite(W)/TZP陶瓷复合材料的显微结构与力学性能

MICROSTRUCTURE AND MECHANICAL PROPERTIES OF MULLITE(W)/TZP CERAMIC COMPOSITES

摘要 研究了 mullite(w) 含量对 mullite(w)/TZP 复合材料显微结构和力学性能的影响。结果表明,当mullite(w)含量大于15 v.-%,热压温度超过1600℃时复合材料将开裂;原因是 Y_2O_3从 TZP 中脱溶进入玻璃相。mullite(W)含量在5-20 V.-%时,室温力学性能与基质 TZP 大致相同:σ_f=1200MPa,K_(IC)=12MPa2^(1/m);而1000℃时复合材料抗弯强度为360-430MPa,是基质 TZP 的1.8-2.1倍。 Effect of mullite whisker contents on the microstructure and mechanical proper-ties of mullite(w)/TZP ceramic composites were studied.The experimental results show thatwhen the mullite whisker contents are more than 15v.-% and hot-pressed temperature is higherthan 1600℃,the composites crack as a result of dissolution of Y_2O_3 from TZP into the glassyphase during the sintering.The mechanical properties of 5-20v.-% mullite(w)/TZP.compo-sites at room temperature areσ_f=1200MPa and K_(IC)=12Mpa 2^(1/m)which are closely same asTZP matrix;furthermore,the fracture strength of the composites at 1000℃ is about360-430MPa,1.8-2.1 times of TZP matrix.
