摘要
民间美术色彩是创作者与观众进行对话的一种文化语言,有装饰、象征等多重功能。民间美术色彩选择既不是纯客观视觉的,也不是随心所欲的,而是以伦理化和宗教化的色彩选择习俗为根据的。阴阳五行学说和趋吉避凶的世俗心理铸成古人的色彩观念,制约着华夏民族的色彩选择,也赋予民间美术色彩以多重表现功能和丰富的文化意蕴。
Colors in Chinese folk arts, which function as decorations, symbols, etc., are used as a kind of language in which to communicate with the audience. The choice of colors by the artist is based on ethics and religious beliefs of the Chinese people rather than on their appeal to the sense of sight or on the artist's inclinations. Yin and Yang, the two opposite principles in nature and human affairs, as well as the inclination to go after good lucks and keep clear of evils, fostered the ideas of colors on the part of the ancient Chinese people.
