摘要 We improve the iterative decoding algorithm by utilizing the “leaked” residual redundancy at the output of the source encoder without changing the encoder structure for the noisy channel. The experimental results show that using the residual redundancy of the compressed source in channel decoding is an effective method to improve the error correction performance.
